Child-Friendly Church Award

Presently we are hoping to restart our sunday School within the 6pm Service during Covid and were doing all we can to provide worship for our  young ones. We do currently have Toodles for under 6's so Sunday school will be for our Children 6-11.

Please do not worry about babies fussing! We're passionate about providing spaces that are welcoming, engaging, and allow even our babies to experience something of God.

We believe that our children are as much part of God’s Kingdom as are their Mums and Dads. But we appreciate that sometimes little children just need a space where they can play, make friends and lots of noise, we provide a creche and Sunday school at both the morning Sunday services, but we also welcome children into the body of the church, and we know little one’s struggle at times to keep still.

Children will mimic their parents/grandparents/siblings etc so do show them the symbols in the service sheet and help them to worship God in their own way and if they make a noise relax, don’t worry, the family of St Cuthberts welcome you.If you would like your child to join our Sunday school team please fill in our registration form.

Our helpers in the team are DBS checked and we take safeguarding very seriously. ALL leaders have completed the Level 2, 2 hour online training and every lead has completed the level face2face training provided by the diocese.
